Mads Nygaard, known as an author, radio host, and columnist, talks about his novel centered on his childhood in Hirtshals. Originally published in 2006 with little attention, the book was later translated into English and published in the USA 16 years later. With an upcoming Danish reissue, this remarkable publishing journey comes full circle. Knitting is welcome, and you will hear the entire story of the novel's journey from Norgesgade 1 in Hirtshals.
