Experience a unique evening storytelling event as artist Mikala Valeur opens the doors to her atelier at Vavasgård to share stories about her art and creative process. Raised in an artistic family, Mikala creates works that combine humor and depth, spanning sculpture, installations, woodcuts, painting, and graphics. Her art moves between objet trouvé, art brut, naivism, and abstraction, with several installations inviting audience participation. Mikala has exhibited internationally and received multiple awards. At Vavasgård, she established Galleri Valeur, where art and gastronomy intersect. She is also working on a woodcut project mapping Danish towns.
