Archival & Poetic Self Exercise – Performance with Sisters Hope
Step into your poetic self. Pause the pace of everyday life and enter the poetic universe of Sisters Hope.
In Archival & Poetic Self Exercise, Sisters Hope invites you to a sensory and performative experience beginning with The Poetic Self – a poetic meditation guiding you to explore your own inner poetic landscape. This exercise is a central part of Sisters Hope's unique performance method, creating a space for immersion, reflection, and sensory presence. From here, the experience moves into The Archive, Sisters Hope's performative archive, which has been relocated to Kunsten as part of the exhibition Sisters Hope & Kunsten. The archive is activated through a performative act that builds upon the poetic exercise. Archival & Poetic Self Exercise is based on Sisters Hope & Kunsten, where the performance group engages works from Kunsten's collection within their distinctive sensory performance universe, offering a poetic alternative to our busy surroundings. Here, you are not merely a spectator but invited to step in, immerse yourself, and actively participate in the exhibition. Join one of four performances: two on September 2 and two on October 18, which is also the final day of the Sisters Hope & Kunsten exhibition.
