Drachmann Evening

The Drachmann Quartet, consisting of the couples Birgit and Poul Bernth, and Ann-Marie Gabrielsson and Jesper Hegaard, is ready as usual to entertain with poems, songs, texts, and stories by and about the Danish poet and painter Holger Drachmann. Price: DKK 150.00

Holger Drachmann was a significant part of the Skagen Painters' heritage. In addition to these cozy evenings at Iscafeen, you can also visit Drachmann's House in Skagen and his gravesite at Grenen. The evenings take place, as in previous years, in the café at the Bear Museum (Bamsemuseet), Oddevej 2A. This year, the events are scheduled for Thursdays: July 30, August 6, 13, 20, 27, and finally September 3. Each event starts at 8:00 PM, and there is, of course, the opportunity to purchase refreshments in Jonna's charming café. Tickets cost only DKK 150.00 and can be pre-ordered by email at bernthskagen@gmail.com. You can also try your luck and buy tickets at the door.
