Guided Tours at the Bunker Museum in Hirtshals

Experience guided tours of the German bunkers in Hirtshals during July and August. Visit living quarters, hospital, and kitchen bunkers as well as trenches to gain a unique insight into the daily life of soldiers during World War II.

From July to August, Sunday through Thursday, explore the German bunkers in Hirtshals, which were a significant part of the fortifications during World War II. The tour includes visits to several of the approximately 70 bunkers in the old 10th Battery, including living quarters, hospital, and kitchen bunkers. You will also have the opportunity to walk through the trenches between the bunkers and gain an understanding of what life was like for a German soldier stationed in the area during the war.
