Guided Tours at the Bunker Museum in Hirtshals

In July and August, guided tours are offered at the Bunker Museum in Hirtshals, where you can explore German bunkers and gain insight into the lives of soldiers during World War II.

From July to August, Sunday through Thursday, you can experience the German bunkers in Hirtshals, which were part of a heavily fortified area during World War II. The guided tour includes visits to several of the approximately 70 bunker sites in the old 10th Battery, including residential, hospital, and kitchen bunkers. You will also have the opportunity to walk through the trenches between the bunkers and gain insight into the daily life of German soldiers stationed in the area.
