In July and August, from Sunday to Thursday, you can explore the German bunkers in Hirtshals, which were a significant part of the fortifications during World War II. The tour visits several of the approximately 70 bunkers that made up the German 10th Battery, including living quarters, hospital, and kitchen bunkers. The guided tour also includes a walk through the trenches, providing insight into the life of German soldiers stationed in the area during the war.
