As a tradition, Nordsøen Oceanarium opens on Christmas Eve Day for a cozy few hours while families await the big evening. Experience Christmas music performed by Bagterp Blæseorkester and Biver, meet Santa's elves, try your luck at the wheel of fortune, and watch seals and fish being served their Christmas dinner. The Christmas diver will also take a plunge in the Oceanarium. Visitors can purchase traditional Danish Christmas treats such as æbleskiver, mulled wine (gløgg), and hot chocolate. The day concludes with communal Christmas caroling.
