On Friday, November 20, 2026, children and adults gather in Sæby town center for a cozy evening marking the start of the Christmas season. From 5:30 PM there will be a Christmas concert at the Square and a march through the town. At 6:00 PM, the evening's main attraction arrives as Santa Claus comes to Sæby Square on a fire engine. Shortly after, everyone gathers around the large Christmas tree, which will be lit at 6:15 PM, officially kicking off the Christmas spirit in the heart of Sæby. Following the lighting, children can receive candy bags at Santa's house.
