Santa Claus Arrival in Skagen – December 5, 2026

Enjoy a free horse-drawn carriage ride from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Christmas houses open, offering the delightful scents of waffles, æbleskiver, warm cocoa, and mulled wine. Children can participate in competitions at the children's house and win wonderful prizes through an American lottery. Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and the elves arrive by boat from the far North and are welcomed at the harbor with a horse-drawn carriage ride to the Christmas houses, where singing and dancing around the Christmas tree take place. Afterwards, Santa hands out goodie bags to all children. Farm Fun presents small petting animals, and in the Christmas scout tent, children can make Christmas gifts for their parents, beautifully wrapped. Admission is free.
