Concert - Dissing and Las Sing Pouls' Songs

When Povl Dissing passed away in the summer of 2022, he left not only a void in Danish music culture but also an invaluable legacy of songs. This heritage is now carried forward by those who knew him best: Rasmus, Jonas, and Las – musical sons and faithful companions on the road for 25 years. Through the project “Povls Sange Lever Videre,” the trio Dissing & Las take the audience on a journey through time, melodies, and lyrics.

With the project “Povls Sange Lever Videre,” the trio Dissing & Las invite the audience on a journey through time, tones, and texts. From songs passed down from Povl's own parents to the poetic gems he himself wrote. From sea shanties and Laus Bengtson's flourishing ballads to travelers' songs. Interpretations from Shel Silverstein and the times with Benny Holst, Peter Thorup, and Burning Red Ivanhoe. In autumn 2026, Dissing & Las will tour the entire country.
