During the summer holidays, children and adults can visit the Coastal Museum in Sæby and step into Consul Ørum's merchant shop from 1890. Here, children have the opportunity to complete fun and educational tasks such as using the old scale, reading the merchant's ledger, writing shopping lists in cursive, and learning about colonial goods. It is an exciting way to experience what it was like to be a merchant in the old days.
