During the summer holidays, the Coastal Museum in Sæby invites both children and adults to a unique experience in Consul Ørum's merchant shop from 1890. Here, children can try their hand at traditional merchant skills such as using the old scale, reading the cash book, writing shopping lists in cursive, and learning about colonial goods. It is a fun and educational way to step back in time and experience merchant life as it was over a hundred years ago.
