During K7 WEEK, experience the feeling of being 'left on read' as a mini-opera in the beautiful foyer of Kunsten Museum of Modern Art Aalborg. Not a heavy, long, three-hour seated opera. But short. Intimate. Right in the middle of your museum. Kind Of Opera has created a new kind of experience together with young people from across the country – about being left 'on read', about overanalyzing, about the silence that is louder than noise while you wait and watch the three dots appear and disappear again. With music performed by Concerto Copenhagen and an opera singer right in front of you, the waiting time unfolds. Perhaps it is your first time seeing opera. It's a pretty good place to start. During K7 WEEK, Kind Of Opera, in collaboration with K7 and Concerto Copenhagen, invites you to a new form of opera – created together with young people and based on their own experiences, thoughts, and stories. Here, the intense emotions of the Baroque meet today's reality, where silence, expectation, and longing play out in a space between messages, imaginations, and doubts. Based on the French composer Rameau's mini-opera L’impatience, the waiting time unfolds as a psychological state: from love turning into uncertainty, hope into overinterpretation. Who knew ghosting was just as relevant in the 1700s?
