As always, Fårup Skovhus will provide a delicious meal to start the evening, followed by a unique acoustic performance. Formed in 2010, the trio has played regularly at various venues in Aalborg and nearby regions, with occasional appearances at festivals such as Tønder and Skagen. They have previously performed twice at Shamrock with great success and now return to close the 2026 season. The Mood Killers have long been known for their authentic acoustic interpretations of popular songs. This time, they focus on Runrig, the Scottish band that has deeply influenced lead singer Malthe Vinther's musical identity since his youth. Having learned the Celtic language and worked intensively with Runrig's repertoire, the trio presents a full concert featuring songs from the band's extensive catalog. The performance is an intimate, acoustic interpretation that captures the emotional and atmospheric essence of Runrig's legacy, featuring strong vocals, excellent guitar work, mandolin, solid bass, and stomp. Malthe Vinther shares: "Runrig's music has always been part of my life... when I was 17, playing 'The Best – 30 Year Journey,' the intro guitar to 'Wall Of China' struck me deeply and has stayed with me ever since."
