Amber Hunting and Coastal Walk

Join the nature guide at Nordstrand to hunt for amber. Meet at the end of Batterivej to start the adventure on Skagen Nordstrand, learn about the dune nature, and search the beach for amber and other fascinating finds. Children are guaranteed to find amber. The tour ends at Skagen Odde Nature Center with amber polishing, nature center exploration, and a meeting with our African horned owl, Tøzen.

Join the nature interpreter for an engaging walk down to Nordstrand to find amber. The meeting point is at the end of Batterivej, where the amber hunt begins on Skagen Nordstrand. Along the way, you will gain insights into the unique nature of the coastal dunes. Afterwards, we head down to the beach to search for amber and other interesting items washed ashore. There is a guarantee that children will find amber during the outing. The tour concludes at Skagen Odde Nature Center, where children can receive assistance polishing their amber into jewelry, explore the nature center, and meet our African horned owl named Tøzen. Registration is required by 14:00 the day before. Price: 100 DKK.
