Amber Hunt and Coastal Walk

Join the nature interpreter for a walk down to Nordstrand to find amber. We meet at the end of Batterivej, where the hunt begins on Skagen Nordstrand. Learn about the coastal dune nature and search the beach for amber and other fascinating finds. Children are guaranteed to find amber. The tour ends at Skagen Odde Nature Center, where children can get help polishing their amber into jewelry, explore the nature center, and meet our African horned owl Tøzen.

Join the nature interpreter for an engaging amber hunt and coastal walk at Nordstrand. We gather at the end of Batterivej to start the search along Skagen Nordstrand, where you will gain insights into the natural environment of the coastal dunes. Afterwards, we head down to the beach to collect amber and other interesting items washed ashore. There is a guarantee that children will find amber during the tour. The event concludes at Skagen Odde Nature Center, where children can receive assistance in polishing their amber into a piece of jewelry, explore the nature center's exhibits, and meet our African horned owl named Tøzen. Registration is required by 2:00 PM the day before. Price: 100 DKK.
