His chili tasting videos featuring well-known guests from both Denmark and internationally have been viewed by hundreds of millions. Now, Chili Klaus steps off the screen and onto the stage. With chili, music, and personal anecdotes, he invites the audience to an evening centered on taste, humor, and connection. "I've spent far too long inside the internet and social media. I truly miss meeting real, living people made of flesh and blood, with whom I can engage in dialogue. Followers and audiences have made me Chili Klaus, and now I want to give something back." Klaus and the Chili Effect is a work-in-progress show, a sensory and entertaining experience where the audience helps shape the evening and is among the first to experience the concept live. Unpredictability and audience participation always play a role. Chili Klaus has received a Zulu Award for the year's most entertaining video and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American YouTube show Hot Ones. His chili tasting videos have been viewed by over a quarter of a billion people.
