The exhibition at Vendsyssel Art Museum in Hjørring presents works by Svend Wiig Hansen (1922-1997), whose raw artistic style places the human being at the center. "Walking, Falling, Standing" displays his art spanning over 50 years, from the 'Mother Earth' controversy in Aarhus to 'Man by the Sea' in Esbjerg. The exhibition explores his depiction of human fragility and existential unrest in the post-war era. The works also raise questions about humanity's role in a changing world. Admission: 90 DKK for adults, free for under 18. The exhibition is in collaboration with ARoS Aarhus Art Museum.
