Join a two-day workshop focusing on indigo dyeing and traditional Japanese sashiko sewing techniques. Materials and catering are included.

Participate in a two-day workshop where you will learn to dye textiles with indigo and sew sashiko, a traditional Japanese embroidery technique. The first day concentrates on indigo dyeing using two types of twill suitable for plant fibers, as well as dyeing threads with Japanese mineral dyes and tannin. On the second day, you will learn hitomezashi sashiko, sewing according to a grid pattern and assembling fabric pieces into a decorative and durable textile. Materials and catering are included.
